The United States FDA concluded in relation to the use of Halamid® Pharma Grade in treating Bacterial Gill Diseases and external Columnaris disease, that our production line for Halamid® Pharma grade is complying with Good Manufacturing Practice based on their audit in 2011.
This is not only underlining the quality of our operations, but it is also a big leap towards final approval of our animal drug application (NADA) which will cover freshwater reared salmonids and finfish in the United States only. In many other countries a similar application is covered by biocidal regulations.
